Yakuza Wars Details Leaked

Fans ofYakuza/Like a Dragonare excited about the future of the franchise. In January, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio demonstrated their great talent by crafting the best game in the series, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which could be a strong candidate for GOTY 2024 at The Game Awards.

As for the next steps, the Yakuza saga will debut on Nintendo Switch with an exclusively digital version of Yakuza Kiwami. Another future avenue is Yakuza: Like a Dragon, a television series set to premiere on July 20, 2025 (the same day Kiwami launches on Switch) on Amazon Prime Video.

Fans ofYakuza/Like a Dragonhave discovered a Facebook page dedicated to Yakuza Wars, which includes some details and even the main artwork of the supposed game.

However, it may not be the major title that fans of the saga are hoping for.Yakuza Warsis rumored to be a new strategy and management game for mobile devices (iOS and Android), featuring Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima.

Officially licensed by Like a Dragon and developed by the Chinese studio BBGame, Yakuza Wars would be a fun addition to the adventures seen on PC and consoles, focusing on the strategic aspect of managing your own yakuza clan.

The first images feature characters like Ichiban Kasuga, Akira Nishkiyama, Ryuji Goda, Shun Akiyama, Andre Richardson, Big Kaz, and the two already mentioned.

Perhaps Yakuza Wars won’t be the only surprise announcement at the RGG Summit on Friday, September 20. In any case, fans should manage their expectations for the event.
