At the E3 2017 PC Gaming Show, 2K Games and Firaxis have announced a newDLCexpansion forXCOM 2, calledWar of the Chosen. It will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 29th.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen adds extensive new content in the fight against ADVENT when additional resistance factions form to eliminate the alien threat on Earth. In response, a new enemy, known as the “Chosen,” emerges with one goal: recapture the Commander. The expansion includes new Hero classes to counter the “Chosen”, new enemies, missions,environments and increased depth in strategic gameplay.
The expansion will feature newsoldier classes,enemies,missionswith extra options for strategy gameplay and modifiers as well as a new challenge mode that gives regular one-shot challenges for a chance to land on leaderboards.
