Technology points are needed for just about everything inPalworld- from unlocking new structures and upgrades for your base tocreating weaponryandsaddles for your pals.
While you get these technology points each time you level up, there are more items to unlock than there are levels to gain, and with many late-game upgrades costing multiple technology points at a time, you’ll likely find yourself needing more technology points than you have access to - but fret not. There are ways you can farm additional technology points in the game, and with the methods below, you’ll be able to unlock everything you could possibly want from the technology tree.

Palworld Day and Night Cycle Explained
The Day and Night cycle is very straightforward in Palworld.
Complete Dungeons in High-Level Zones
Dungeons can be found by flying around the zone and looking for an open entryway, typically located along the side of a mountain or underneath a cliff. All dungeons feature both human and Pal mobs, materials you can gather, treasure chests and a final boss. The final boss is what you’re after here (though the other goodies are worth picking up, as well). After you defeat the final boss, one more room will unlock. In that room there will be two treasure chests. Looting those treasure chests offers you a chance at receivingTechnical Manuals, both future and ancient. While you cannot run the same dungeon repeatedly (the entrance will close after you teleport out of the dungeon), you can fly around the zone and hop between dungeons to farm these manuals.
We suggest running dungeons in late-game zones, including Mount Obsidian, Astral Mountains, Sakurajima Island and Feybreak Island, for the best results. These chests also drop other things you’ll need, like schematics and fragments to summon raid bosses like Bellanoir Libero and Blazamut Ryu.

Pals that Drop Technical Manuals
Another reliable method for farming technical manuals involves finding and capturing (or killing) certain pals.
We suggestcapturing these palsas opposed to killing - you still get the same loot from them, and you can later mass-dispose of them in thePal Disassembly Conveyerto get extra loot, increasing your chances of earning Technical Manuals.

Bounty Token Exchange
While this method is a bit more of a grind, it’s not at all up to luck, and is actually a biteasierto accomplish since bounty targets are marked on your map with a purple icon.Killing bounty targets will earn you bounty tokens, which you can then take to one of the major settlements (Small Settlement, Dune Shelter, or Fisherman’s Point) to exchange with a Bounty Intel Dealer for rewards. Among these rewards is aHigh Grade Technical Manual in exchange for 5 bounty tokens.(Once consumed, a High Grade Technical Manual will reward you with 3 technology points.)
you’re able to easily fly around the map between each purple icon and rack up your bounty tokens in no time. If you want even more bounty tokens, you can then speed up the day and night cycle in your game’s settings to force the bounty mobs to respawn more quickly.

Looting Treasure Chests
This one might be obvious, but it is the method on this list that is the most up-to-luck. Flying around end-game zones and looting the chests found there offers not only the opportunity for Technical Manuals, but also gold coins, crafting materials, schematics and food. Red chests in end-game zones will require gold keys to unlock, so you’ll want to make sure you have a stash of them in your inventory, but there are also plenty of gold and purple chests to be looted.
