Unlike the usual weekly quests in Fortnite, such as theCabbage Cart destruction, the Summit Temple quest offers a unique challenge. It’s a straightforward task if you know the temple’s location. So, here’s a detailed guide on locating the Summit Temple and collecting its weapons.
Where is the Summit Temple in Fortnite?
The Summit Temple is a small building right at the eastern edge of the map. You can easily reach the location by traveling northeast for a few minutes from the Mount Olympus POI or directly head there after jumping out of the Battle Bus. We’ve marked its exact location on the map below.
You can quickly identify the building by the two giant white gladiator statues holding a sword and a shield in front of them.
Currently, it is a very populated area, with dozens of players dropping at the spot. I recommend jumping some hours later when it gets less busy or during nighttime to avoid drop fights.

How to collect weapons at Summit Temple in Fortnite
After landing at the Summit Temple, the quest is pretty straightforward. To finish the quest, you must pick up 12 or more weapons from the landmark. So, explore the area and pick up weapons from the ground and treasure boxes.
I recommend starting with the golden chest at the center of the temple near the Apollo NPC. This chest guarantees a confirmed Gold and Epic Tier weapon, which will help you for the remainder of the game.
After that, look for corners on the Summit Temple Landmark, as shown in the following slideshow. Here, you will find treasure boxes holding new weapons and regular weapon spawns from the ground.
Sometimes, due to extreme competition, you won’t be able to collect12 weaponsin a single go and must return for a second or even third time to fulfill the quota. Remember, you must collect 12 weapons from Summit Temple; doing so in one go is not mandatory.
Once you have finished the quest by collecting 12 weapons, you will receive the10K XP.
