It’s been over three years since the God of War cosmetics, including Kratos and his iconic Leviathan Axe, have been available to buy in the Fortnite Item Shop. With a Greek Mythology season currently underway, it’s surely a matter of time until everyone’s favorite god-slaying dad returns, right?

There has been no official confirmation by Epic Games or Sony that Kratos or the Leviathan Axe will return to Fortnite. Epic remains tight-lipped about Kratos and the Leviathan Axe making their comeback despite the sea of replies on social media requesting the Ghost of Sparta to return. In fact, Kratos is so highly requested that it’s become a meme in the community, spawning hilarious videos and replies to both Epic Games and popular leakers.
Given the Greek mythology theme of the current season and the inclusion ofboss fights with Olympian godson the map, there’s never been a better time for Kratos to make his way back into the game. Whether Epic Games capitalizes on this golden opportunity, however, waits to be seen. As a great man once said, “Keep your expectations low, boy, and you’ll never be disappointed.”
