In Hades 2, although failing in a run is miserable, it at least gives me opportunity to interact with all the people — and the frog — in The Crossroads. Saluting, confiding, and brooding in Hades 2 are all enjoyable, but do they do anything significant?

Salute, Treat, Confide, and Brood in Hades 2 – What do they do?

TLDR; they do nothing but providefun and sweet interactionswith thedenizens of The Crossroads. That’s it.

I was positively surprised that such interactions were implemented into the game. It really gives The Crossroadsthat community feeling. you may interact with almost everyone and everything present, and I’d recommend that you do if you haven’t already.

Salute Hades 2

These short and sweet interactions show the compassion in The Crossroads. My favorite interaction is how I can confide my frustrations with thefaithful frog, Frinos.

Everyone you can Salute in Hades 2

If you wish toSalute everyonein Hades 2, then seek out all of these characters:

You’ll find Shemeleus, the Training Master, north of the Silver Pool. Dora can be found in Melinoe’s tent, justbefore The Crossroads proper.

Frinos Hades 2

Lord Charon can be found in the chambers where youbuy items from him. He won’t say anything we can understand, but Melinoe seems to appreciate it. Any shade that has a green dot can be saluted to and they’ll respond with a fun emoji.

Everyone you can Confide to in Hades 2

There’s only one person, well, frog, that you can Confide to.You’ll find Frinos right behind youwhen you spawn back into The Crossroads after defeat.

Depending on what you fell to,Melinoe will say something different every time you confide in him. Unlike other interactions, you’re able to confide in Frinos as much as you want, although nothing new will be said. Melioe will just pet him.

Everyone you can Treat in Hades 2

There is only one, well technically two, creatures you’re able to treat in Hades 2.The hound and polecat guards you’ll find just north of Odysseus.Unfortunately, you won’t actually see Melinoe give them a treat, but she’ll say something nice.

Everything you can Brood at in Hades 2

In the Crossroads in Hades 2, there’s one object you can brood at. Thepicture of Melinoe’s familyin her tent (just north of Dora) can be brooded at. To remind Melinoe of her purpose and mission.

Upon brooding, you’ll get to see the picture, and you may brood as long as you like. This will give you a small glimpse intothe story of Hades 1 and Hades 2.

Saluting isn’t the only thing you can do with your friends in Hades 2.You can also give them a gift for a Keepsake.
