There are over 60 weapons in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, so you will do more than just hold a rifle and shoot your way through. You will find weapons that stun, shock, bind, or even blind enemies. But you will notice early on that most of the weapons in this game don’t kill. They knock out or slow down your enemies instead. That means you can stay in control without making a mess.
Review: Death Stranding Director’s Cut
Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is well worth the time for the curious or the existing fans, proving that Kojima still knows how to surprise.
Whether you prefer going into a fight gun blazing or like to do things quietly and cleanly, there’s a weapon for you here. There are even grenades if you want to go full on chaos mode.

10Grenade Pistol (MP)
Blasts Groups Without Slowing You Down
This is a compact weapon that fires explosive rounds, so it’s perfect for clearing out clusters of enemies. It uses MP-type shells, which means the blasts won’t kill but will still knock down humans, BTs, and even machines.
What I love most about the Grenade Pistol is that it’s not made for accuracy. The grenade explodes as soon as it hits something, so even if your aim is a little off, the blast will still land. That makes it great when you’re under pressure and don’t have time to line up perfect shots. You can fire quickly, dive behind cover and let the explosion do the rest. The damage hits a small area around the impact point, which helps when enemies are packed close together or moving in from one direction.

9Blood Grenade Lv2
Spreads Blood Mist That Damages and Distracts
The Blood Grenade helps youdeal with BTs, mechs, and even human enemies without needing perfect aim. When you throw it, it explodes into a thick red mist made from synthetic blood. That cloud doesn’t just look scary, it also keeps hurting anything that stays inside it and makes it harder for them to see.
I also like the fact that the Blood Grenade is not a one-time hit. The mist lingers and keeps doing damage, which gives you time to move, reload, or set up your next attack. You can unlock this upgraded version after connecting the C1 South Distribution Center and reaching three stars with them.

8Battle Guitar
An Electric Guitar You Can Swing and Shoot
The Battle Guitar appears pretty late into the game, and you can use it in aboss fight. The weapon acts like an electrically charged guitar that you can swing or shoot. If you press the strike button, Sam smashes enemies with the guitar’s body. If you use the aim button and fire to send blasts of electricity. And if you hold the fire button longer, it charges up, unleashing a bigger shockwave.

This is a list detailing vital tips and tricks to improve your Death Stranding 2 playthrough.
You only carry one guitar and a few charges of chiral crystals to power it. So it’s not for general roaming or patrol clearing. You can’t spam it in every battle, so save it for when you meet Higgs.

7Combat Power Gloves Lv2
Deliver Fast, Electric Punches
The Combat Power Gloves are one of my favorite melee weapons, and they are made for getting up close and hitting hard without making noise. They’re lightweight, and use a built-in electric system to boost your melee attacks. The electric shock can freeze robotic enemies and knock back human ones before they react.
How to Repair Transporter Boots in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Sometimes you just need to throw away perfectly good shoes in Death Stranding 2.
If you’re moving through tight tunnels or inside buildings filled with enemies, these gloves let you drop targets fast without alerting others. That said, you’ll use battery power every time you swing, so you need to keep an eye on energy levels, but it lasts long enough to get through a normal skirmish.

6Maser Handgun
Hits Hard Without Making a Sound
The Maser Handgun is one of the quietest weapons you can carry. You get it early in the game, and it’s designed for stealth. This gun doesn’t use bullets. It fires electric charges. You hold down the trigger to build up power, then release it to shock the enemy. A small charge is quick and works on weaker targets. A full charge hits harder and can stun tougher enemies, including mechs.
No matter how much power you use, the Maser Handgun remains completely silent. That’s what makes it special. You can walk into a camp, knock someone out, and no one else will hear a thing. That’s what I would recommend if you’re trying to sneak through an area filled with patrols or BTs.
5Shotgun (MP) Lv2
Strongest in Close-Range Combat Against Groups
The Shotgun (MP) is built for short-distance fights where you need to hit hard and fast. The Level 2 version of the Shotgun (MP) carries up to 10 rounds per reload and has extra space for 50 backup shells, making it ideal when you’re expecting a lot of enemies. It also comes with a red dot sight to help you aim better, a flashlight for darker areas and even a built-in grenade launcher for crowd control.
The grenade launcher is the coolest thing about the bonus Shotgun (MP) Lv2 because if you’re cornered or a group of BTs is coming your way, one well-placed grenade can give you room to breathe. If your goal is to hold your ground when enemies close in, this shotgun gives you the firepower and tools to stay in control.
4Tranq Sniper Rifle
Knockouts Human Enemies from Long Range
First off, the Tranq Sniper Rifle takes care of enemies, but it doesn’t kill them. It fires darts that put people to sleep instead of hurting them. So it’s the best weapon to use when you’re trying to sneak into enemy camps or clear out guards from a distance without drawing attention. If you use it carefully, you’re able to take out enemies one by one before they even see you.
3 Best Sniper Rifles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
With these sniper rifles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, your enemies don’t stand a chance.
The Tranq Sniper Rifle is not good for close-range fights or against non-human threats like BTs. But for human enemies, especially patrols or camps, it’s one of the safest tools you can bring. If you’re the kind of player who likes to avoid big fights and prefers sneaking past trouble, this sniper is for you.
3LW Assault Rifle (MP) Lv2
Great for Fast, Non-Lethal Combat
What makes this rifle stand out is how easy it is to use in different kinds of fights. You can switch between three fire modes: single shot for careful aiming, burst fire for controlled damage, or full-auto when you just need to keep enemies back. The grenade launcher helps when you run into a tight group, as one well-placed shot can break them apart or knock them down, giving you time to reload or escape.
The LW Assault Rifle (MP) is a great pick when you’re pushing through a place that has both human enemies and BTs. It hits hard enough to keep pressure on but never goes lethal. You don’t have to be perfect with your aim either. The dot sight helps you stay on target, and the wide spread of the grenades covers more ground.
2Machine Gun (MP) Lv1
Holds Down Enemies with Constant Pressure
The Machine Gun (MP) works best when things get messy and you don’t have time to aim carefully. It spits out non-lethal bullets fast and keeps enemies stunned long enough for you to either run, flank, or finish them. Whether you’redealing with human patrolsor robotic threats, this weapon keeps them from moving freely. you’re able to tap for controlled bursts or hold down for continuous fire.
Again this is another weapon that doesn’t kill, but works pretty well. They’re designed to knock enemies unconscious instead of taking them out permanently. That’s useful in situations where you want to avoid lethal force, like when you’re escorting cargo through guarded areas.
1Bola Stun Gun
Electrocutes Humans and Machines
When you fire the Bola Stun Gun, it shoots out electrified cables that wrap around your target. As soon as the cables tighten, a strong electric shock kicks in. That jolt knocks out humans instantly and even stuns machines. It works on mechs too, giving you a way to stop them long enough to escape or finish the job with another weapon.
This stun gun is perfect when you’re sneaking through enemy bases or narrow areas where you don’t have space for big weapons. It’s especially good for quick ambushes. Fire once, and your target drops before they can raise an alarm. It also helps in BT encounters. The electrical charge messes with their movement, making it easier to move past them or follow up with another attack.
