Ubisoftannounced duringGamescoma new installment in the series calledHeroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, which will be released to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era Will Be The New Title of The Saga
For strategy fans, there are certain sagas that hold a special place, such asWarcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires, Command & Conquer, andHeroes of Might & Magic. The Heroes of Might & Magicseries, originally a spin-off of the RPG franchise Might and Magic, combined role-playing elements with turn-based strategy, bringing a fresh perspective to the industry.
Now, after almost a decade of inactivity on PC, Ubisoft has surprised everyone at Gamescom 2024 by announcing the “resurrection” of the series withHeroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. Developed by Unfrozen, this new installment will be released next year, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the saga.

A Return to the Origins of Heroes of Might & Magic
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era aims to return to the series' roots, taking players back to the world of Enroth. Both new and veteran players will enjoy a new strategic adventure in this continent, as well as in Jadame.
In this new chapter, players can build castles, gather massive armies, and engage in epic, deeply tactical battles where heroes and mythical creatures play a central role. The game will offer both a single-player campaign and various standalone maps and scenarios, along with a diverse array of multiplayer modes.

The developers promise entirely new combat mechanics, including active abilities for heroes and a new faction-based perk system that will offer a fresh twist to gameplay.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Eraalready has an official page on Steam and will be released in early access during the second quarter of 2025.
