The Game Awards will be returning this December with a new additional category celebrating the Best Adaptation for video game IPs to other mediums.
The Game Awards Returns December 8th with New Category Best Adaptation
Geoff Keighley certainly has his hands full withGamescomhappening later today, but it doesn’t mean he’s forgotten aboutThe Game Awards. The next event will be happening on December 8th confirmed by the producer and host himself. This year though a new category will be added to the list in the form of Best Adaptation.
According to the tweet Best Adaptation will refer “shows, movies, books, podcasts, comics + more that authentically adapt the source material.” This is quite a wide category as this means games that have been adapted into any of these forms, meaning TV series, animations and more.
