Sharing the screen with his dream co-star, Ryan Gosling recalled a moment from his work and mentioned how Steve Carell had the ability to make anyone laugh. Enticed by his performance and his screen presence, Gosling recalled how difficult it was to work alongside the comedy star, for all the good reasons.

“One time the boom guy just threw down his mic and had a laughing attack in the corner in the middle of a take. It was the first time I worked with someone who was so good it was a problem. I became a huge fan.”

Further, Ryan Gosling reflected upon how he grabbed the opportunity without thinking twice when he was offered a role alongsideSteve Carell. Admitting how he would have accepted any project that starred Carell, Gosling literally proved his craze for the veteran actor.

“Eventually I got this opportunity to work with him so I decided to jump at it. I didn’t really think of it as a conscious choice to do a comedy, although the prescription was looming there in my subconscious, but I really wanted to work with Steve. I would have done anything to work with him.”

Although the actor found it difficult to match Steve Carell’s persona and comedy timing, Ryan Gosling confessed to having a great time working with Carell.
