The fast-paced action MMORPG Spellbreak is launching its Closed Beta for Playstation 4.
Spellbreak PS4 Closed Beta Starts March 3rd
Spellbreak fantasy battle royale developed by Proletariat is starting it’s closed beta on March 3rd for Playstation 4. Those who want to participate will need purchase a founders pack on the Playstation Store. The Mystic Founder Pack edition is $49.99, the Sorceror Founder Pack is $79.99 or pick up the Champion Founder Pack for $119.99. Those with PS Plus can gain 5% off. Those who pre-order will gain exclusive items when the game fully launches, which includes in-game currency, in-game avatar and more.
Spellbreak features magic combat in the a battle royale setting, with a number of combinations. you’re able to also craft specific builds to help you survive the battle. While this closed beta is to test out what the developers call Battle Royale RPG, there are plans to provide more game modes, daily quests, a narrative and more according to the official developer diary.
While there are a lot of battle royale type games out there, Proletariat tries to set themselves apart with a more RPG based class system and using elemental range magic attacks instead of your usual shooter.
It will be interesting to see how this game stacks up in a battle royale setting with magic. So far there are six classes will be available to choose from in beta which include Pyromancer, Stoneshaper, Toxicologist, Conduit, Tempest and Frostborn.
Spellbreakclosed beta starts March 3rd for those who purchase the Mystic Founder Pack on Playstation 4. The devs are planning to bring the game to as many platforms, but currently PC and PS4 are being beta tested.
