Pyre Reviews

So what do the critics say about it? Currently it has aOpen Critic score of 85. Here are a selection of Pyre review scores:

The consensus is that the game’s core battle arena gameplay is stellar and the true draw for the title, which for fans is a good thing. After all, you want the core experience to be what shines. There is a bit of a mixed reception on visuals and story, with some sentiments in favor and others saying the game falls short of the celebrated stories in Transistor and Bastion. There is enough variance though that players interested in the core gameplay should not be too concerned. If you’re coming here purely for the Supergiant storytelling, your mileage may vary.
