Sony has announced they are dropping the monthly price of Playstation Now to half, which means you may pick up a years subscription for $60.

In addition to cutting the sub price in half, Sony are adding some additional titles to the subscription service as of today. These include some major titles such asGod of War, Uncharted 4: Thief’s End, Infamous Second Son and Grand Theft Auto V. So if you haven’t picked up these titles previously and wanted to check them out, you can with PS Now. According to thePlaystationwebsite God of War and Uncharted 4, will be available until January 2nd, 2020.

These changes in pricing structure are quite drastic, it could be to compete with a number of new subscription services that are popping up on a number of platforms. Just recently Xbox Game Pass announced they are offering 6 months Premium Netflix subscriptions for new customers and they previously this year expanded to PC with a beta. How Sony will handle the next generation of console in terms of subscription services like this is also still a mystery.
