One of the notable announcements during the recent Nintendo Partner Direct was Octopath Traveler 0, a new title in the RPG series from Square Enix. It’s coming to multiple platforms at launch and won’t be an exclusive like the original.

Like the original release, Octoapth Traveler 0 isn’t a demanding game at all, and you don’t need much to play it at higher settings.
To max out the game at 1080p, you only need a GTX 1070 paired with a modest Ryzen 5 2600. On the lower side, even a GTX 960 can you a 30 FPS experience on the low preset.

Octopath Traveler 0 Release Date
Octopath Traveler 0 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Windows) onDecember 4, 2025.
The game is still a few months away, but Square Enix usually puts up their games for pre-order after announcement anyway, so you have plenty of time to decide if the few extra goodies are worth the pre-order or expensive edition.
