The sequel has already been announced and now one of the stars of the first film has spoken up about the prospects of the sequel. Connie Nielson who played Odenkirk’s wife inNobodyhas now teased that the sequel will continue to explore more of the family dynamics through its great story. She toldScreenrant,

“Who doesn’t love Bob? Bob is just so cool and fun and sweet, and he has unbelievable energy. I adore him. That guy is just so great. And then, on top of that, you have this family again.

I’m a family person and I love depicting the tensions inside of a family; the natural tensions, but also the sweetness that underlies the love that connects all of these people together. This is a great family. It’s a great story that I look forward to returning to, definitely.”

Bob Odenkirk ventured into the action genre with 2021’sNobody,which changed the audiences’ perspective of the actor who was always known as the ‘funny guy’ up to that point. He committed to his turn as an action hero and surprised audiences, who were immediately craving for more of the actor in the action space.

Odenkirk also seems to be enjoying the newfound love of fans from the film. The actor recently spoke toDeadlineabout how much he enjoyed the training and doing action through the course of the film. He also expressed his love for Jackie Chan and his desire to explore the action genre more in the future. He said,

“I still train multiple times a week, and if I get my way, you’re going to see me doing more action. I found the action sequences a great deal of fun and close to doing sketch comedy. I love the early Jackie Chan films, which had humor in them. I’d like to get that in the future.”
