NeowizandRound 8 Studiohave announced an early 2025 release date for the expansion ofLies of P, their 2023 soulslike title, while also revealing one of their upcoming projects alongside the already-confirmed sequel to the action RPG.
Lies of P DLC Release Date
TheDLC forLies of Pwill be available in thefirst quarter of 2025. This was revealed via industry news in Korea, and picked up by international media. Previously, some concept art was shared, and with its release approaching, it’s highly likely that we’ll see the first teaser at The Game Awards 2024, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
Earlier this year,it was mentioned that the expansion and sequel were being developed simultaneously, with the goal of addressing areas where there was room for improvement. “It may sound simple, but I think staying true to the foundation isn’t easy,” said director Jiwan Choi.
A New Sci-Fi Survival Horror Game in the Works
Additionally, the studio has been working on an original IP that will dive into survival horror within a science fiction setting. This project is in its early development stages and will launch on consoles and PC.
Lies of P,loosely inspired by the novelThe Adventures of Pinocchio, was received as a success when it released in September 2023, earning its place as one of the best soulslike games not developed by FromSoftware. Check out ourLies of P Review
