Elden Ringholds a reputation for its versatile playstyles and for inspiring players to have a go at their own builds. From swords and daggers to staffs and spells; there’s a lot to work with in the game that makes you feel right in place. However, some weapons have a strong resemblance and affiliation with moments live in the past, you might as well feel like you’re reliving them.

Meet the Grave Scythe, a deadly weapon that can be found early on in the game before even defeating the first real boss. Add to this a few buffs, and you’re looking at one of the deadliest builds in the game that resembles quite a few moments inBloodborne.
Here’s how you craft the Graveyard Scythe Build
First things first, where do you even find this scythe inElden Ring? Well, head straight to Lake-Facing Cliff’s site of grace which can be found right behind the Stormveil Castle. And no, you don’t need to defeat Godrick for this. All you need to do is make your way around the castle and find this place. Once you’re here, head straight to the cemetery nearby. That’s where a bunch of magic-wielding skeletons show up.

And now, you begin farming. Keep defeating them until you successfully find a Grave Scythe. Keep in mind that this weapon has a passive blood-loss buildup, making it extremely deadly when you pull off the right combos. Now, these are the extra items/buffs you need to find in order to make yourElden Ringexperience resembleBloodborne:
This may look quite the list, but most of these items can be found early on in the game. Thanks to the Stormcaller Ash of War, you will be doing terrifying combos that not only protect you from enemies around you but also deal with massive blood-loss buildup. This is crucial if you want to quickly stagger enemies.

Everything else gives you a damage buff and makes you one of the toughest players to go against, regardless of a PvE or PvP situation inElden Ring. The resemblance toBloodborneis uncanny, isn’t it? Now, if only we could find the same outfits.
Elden Ring’s reaper builds change the playstyle drastically
While the scythe may appear to be a cool-looking weapon, there are just four kinds of scythes in the game. Which truly is underwhelming when you think about all the combos andbuildsyou can craft with this deadly weapon type. However, this also adds to its uniqueness, as not every player is comfortable (and capable) of wielding such a cool weapon.
Elden Ring Set to Become Free-to-Play with In-App Purchases
The best thing about reaper builds comes down to the movement. These feel light in your hands; whether you’re wielding it two-handed or not. However, the true effectiveness both aesthetically and mechanically comes from wielding the weapon with both hands. Furthermore, your own playstyle matters when you’re choosing a build.
The Grave Scythe may use a lot of blood-loss buildups, but you can always try your passives with poison, blight, and other damage types that can completely shift the tides of battle in your favor. Truly, it’s up to you. What are your thoughts on this build? Let us know in the comments below.
