Capcom’sMega Man Xaction-platformer is split into 10 stages, the first being a tutorial or introduction stage, 8 main stages and then the final stage. Any of the 8 main stages can be done in any order you choose but clearing a stage will have an affect on other stages for better or for worse, so be alert on the select changes. Below is a guide for the Sky stage and it’s boss, Storm Eagle. I will explain each enemy and bosses you will face in this stage.
Mega Man X: Sky Stage & Storm Eagle
In this stage players will face a number of enemies before they come face to face with the boss, the Storm Eagle. Enemies include Sky Claw, Lift Cannon and Turn Cannon. Each enemy requires different strategies to apprehend them, I will explain each in this step-by-step guide for this level.
Players will start this level on a stationary platform. Head right and jump on one of the moving platforms. There will be severalSky Claws, similar to prize claw grabbers. If you have problems with them use Boomerang Cutter or Chameleon Sting since these attacks cover a wide area. Once you have taken the moving platforms to the top, either dash jump to the left for a Heart Tank, or left to advance the level.

You will come across aLift Cannon, aim for the head part and use it to reach a Sub Tank. Continue heading left while navigating through all the moving lifts and Sky Claws.
There will be a large wired tower platform leading you up but forgo that option and head south. At the end of this path will be flammable explosive tanks. Use your Mega Buster to create a new path that houses Mega Man’s Helmet Upgrade.

Head back to the large wired tower platform head upwards and right this time. Sky Claws andMettalswill be scattered through this part. However, they are easy to eliminate or evaded if you don’t feel up to bothering with them. At the end of this area, there will be platforms that fall once they are touched. Make your way as quickly and safely as possible. Jump onto the large airplane carrier and destroy the 2Turn Cannons. Follow the ladders to reach the boss of this stage.
Boss: Storm Eagle
Storm Eagle’s attacks strive to push the player off the large air carrier. This can be countered by dashing towards him during the duration of the winds. He may drop some eggs that will split into a handful of birds or he may decide to dive bomb you. Storm Eagle will fly towards then skies when he will attempt to dive bomb you so be mindful of his movements. Either dash away from him during this or jump over him to avoid being damaged.
When he wants to chuck eggs at you, Storm Eagle will float to one of the corners. Using Chameleon Sting (gained from theSting Chameleon stage) or even a max charged Mega Buster will take off a good amount of health from this boss. Chameleon Sting is the best way to approach this fight since the weapon can spread and make it sufficiently easier for players to hit Storm Eagle.
