Destiny 2 — How to skip the New Light tutorial

Players wanting to start a new guardian, or brand new players starting Destiny 2 for the first time have a new option to expedite their progress. Normally when you start a new character in D2, you’ll be taken to the Cosmodrome to get your bearings before traveling to farther planets. However, with the new Into the Light update, players can nowcompletely skip the New Light tutorial in the Cosmodromeand startchasing those new shiny godrolls.

Players have two options now when first entering the cosmodrome and meeting your tutorial NPC, Shaw Han. You can choose to continue the tutorial quest “A Guardian Rises” which was the normal way of starting Destiny 2 before Into the Light. That being said, if you want to skip the New Light tutorial in Destiny 2, all you have to do is head to theflag right next to Shawthat says“Skip New Light.”
