If you haven’t noticed, games nowadays attempt to capture momentum around launch by staggering release times. If you pre-ordered a more expensive tier of a game, you may get a few days early access. Or, if you’re eager to play, you’re able to do a New Zealand trick by manipulating the system to force the game to be available for you.

You can pull off the New Zealand Trick in WWE 2K24. If you’re super excited and want to play WWE 2K24 early, keep on reading.

WWE 2K24: How to play early with the New Zealand trick

Other than buying the deluxe WWE 2K24, this seems to be the only way to play into the early access which startson February 5. But if you don’t want to drop more money, the New Zealand trick will also get you into early access —for free. However, each platform that WWE 2K24 is on has a different method. So whichever system you’re playing on, simply skip to that section below.

For Xbox users

I’ve used the trick on the Xbox several times since it’s so easy to do.You just need to change some simple settings on the console. If this is your first time attempting this exploit, I suggest using the same method that I did. It’s quick and easy, and you canstart your careerin the game in no time.

If you do the steps right, the game should launch. When the game goes live in your region, set everything back to normal. If you don’t, the in-game store will be stuck with New Zealand’s currency.

On the off chance the trick doesn’t do anything, you’re just going to have to waittill the game comes out.

Playing early on a PlayStation

I’ve never done the New Zealand trick on a PlayStation console, but from searching far and wide, it seemsowners of the PlayStation cannot do it. So the only way to play early is topre-order the game’s deluxe versionof WWE 2K24. But if you do, there’sa three-day head startyou get over everyone else.

For some reason, the trick isn’t a surefire way of playing early on PC.You can still attempt it, but your chances of getting in drops down to 50 percent. The only way to get the game to think you’re in New Zealand is to usea VPN. Whichever one you’re using, change your location to New Zealand. From there, try launching the game. If it works, you’re off to the races. On the other hand, if it does not (there’s a high chance it won’t),just wait it out. Or, like PlayStation owners, get the deluxe edition of the game.

I would not recommend this way because it opens you up to beingbanned from the game. Since it’s under the 2K umbrella, you also may getbanned from other 2K gameslike NBA.
