There are eight different e-books in June’s First Reads collection
Similar to the last few months, Amazon is once again offeringKindle userseight distinct e-books to choose from in its First Reads collection. These books encompass a variety of genres, including historical fiction, crime thrillers, women’s fiction, and more.
A few of this month’s standout options include Fog and Fury, a crime thriller by Rachel Howzell Hall, American Sky, a historical fiction novel by Carolyn Dasher, and Tiny Daggers, a psychological thriller by Caroline Corcoran.

This month’s free bonus short read is Abscond: A Short Story by Abraham Verghese, which tells the story of a young tennis prodigy who must “grow up overnight and find a new role in the life of his family.”
If you haven’t tried Amazon’s First Reads program before, I highly recommend giving it a go. It’s an excellent way to discover new and upcoming books and authors, offering something for everyone thanks to its diverse selection of titles. As I mentioned earlier, Amazon Prime members can choose an e-book for free and claim the bonus short read from it. If you’re uncertain about trying Amazon Prime, it offers a ton of different benefits, such as fast, free shipping and access to its streaming platform, AmazonPrime Video.

If you’re not interested in subscribing to Amazon Prime, then non-Prime members can select one of the First Reads titles to read for $2 instead of getting it for free.
