StarfieldHyla Ancient Ruins glyph puzzle solution
After talking with the Hunter and the Emissary inStarfield, you’ll get the Unity mission which requires you togo to Hyla II and find the “Scorpion’s Sting.”
That mission description should help you discover how to solve the Hyla Ancient Ruins glyph puzzle, but to help you out, you solve the puzzle bygetting the light beam onto the Scorpius Constellation’s tailwhere its stinger is. Use the image above to see the star you need to focus the light on.
Approach the Ancient Ruins and use the floating glyph to move the light beam. The circles on the north, east, south, and west of the glyph need to be pressed to move the light beam in that direction. So, to get the light beam onto the scorpion’s tail, use the west and south glyph circles.
After nudging the light beam enough, you’ll eventually get it on the scorpion’s tailand get the next objective in the Unity mission. You now need to go to the last star of the Scorpius Constellation which is marked and therefore fairly easy to find and get to.
Ignore (and definitely don’t attack) the giant bugsaround the Ancient Ruins. They aren’t part of the puzzle at all and, in fact, I recommend you avoid them entirely because they’ll likely be much higher level than you (they were for me) and will therefore be hard to fight.
All that’s left to do isgo to the correct solar system and meet up with the Emissary and the Hunter. If, after solving this puzzle, you need helpdeciding between the Hunter or the Emissary, you should check out our guide.
