Ages of characters in the newThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomcan be confusing. But no other character’s age is more convoluted than Purah, the genius researcher on ancient technology. Purah has served the royal family for most of her life, and has been able to de-age herself with the anti-aging Rune. Now, inTears of the Kingdom, how old would Purah be? We’ll try to answer that question below.

Purah’s age inTears of the Kingdom

We’ve already coveredhow old Link may be, andhow old Zelda probably is. Their ages are easier to decipher, but Purah’s age is a little tricky to figure out. To discover her age, we should look back at some context clues fromBreath of the Wild. In the first game, she looked to be about 6 years old. But in reality, she had just de-aged herself, looking incredibly young while still having her incredible mind.

We know for a fact that during the Calamity, Purah was a young woman, around 20 years old. Then, once the 100 years had passed, she decided to de-age her body. So duringBreath of the Wild, Purah was around 120 years old. But how old then would Purah be inTears of the Kingdom? Well, seeing as we also figured outthe time gap between the two games, we can infer that three to five years have roughly passed.

How Old Is Purah In Tears Of The Kingdom Totk Character Profile

Overall,Purah’s actual age now would be roughly around 123-125. You can tell some years have passed based on Purah’s new appearance. Although you would think her body would be one of a nine or 11-year-old, Purah’s de-aged body seems to age faster. Now, inTears of the Kingdom, she looks to be about 25-30.

This is because inAge of Calamity, the prequel toBreath of the Wild, Purah had a different design for a 20-ish year old. Perhaps she’s simply more mature now, but I also think her body’s age is a little older than 20.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis available on the Nintendo Switch.
