If there’s one thing thatClair Obscur: Expedition 33does well is maintain its serious nature, at least to a certain degree. Aesthetics are a key component to the dark French RPG, featuring a grim outlook on a warped world, something that’s filled with death and destruction. At the same time, there are a ton of different outfits to collect, some that just look hilarious in the midst of combat. One so happens to be swimsuits. In this, we will explore how to find the second Gestral Beach in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and complete the mini-game tied to it.

How to Obtain Lune’s Swimsuit in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Dress to impress in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by putting on a two-piece swimsuit.

Where to Find the Second Gestral Beach

While the first Gestral Beach can be found on the first continent you’ve washed up on, the second is a little further into the story. You’ll be able to find this location roughly ten hours into the campaign after, not only acquiring Esquie as a mount, but completing his quest, allowing him to swim in the open waters outside the continent.

Once you’ve reached this point, where a pivotal story moment occurs, you’ll be able to access areas you once weren’t able to on the first island. With that said, you won’t be staying on this island, but instead venturing into uncharted territories. From where you start, head as far as you can northeast on the back of Esquie.

Eventually, you will come across a corral that blocks your way from moving too far without going to a specific location to progress the story. Instead, if you’ve headed northeast, there will be another beach area found at the edge of the barrier and the eastern continent. This is the second Gestral Beach, simply called Gestral Beach, making it hard to differentiate them.

Volleyball Mini-Game

When you enter Gestral Beach, you’ll notice it’s a lot more barren than the last. This is because the Gestral you seek is all the way at the back of the area. Talk to him to learn that he’s putting on a volleyball competition with three levels of difficulty. Upon completing each of the difficulties, you will be rewarded with different items.

The Weakest

As you can imagine, the weakest is… well, the weakest. This Gestral is located in a shabby-looking raft that only has five hits of health, similar to yours. If you look at your raft, there will be three small slightly darker planks. Use these as guides, as your objective is to time an R1/RB attack, knocking back the Gestrals that are thrown at you. As a reward, you are givenResplendent Chroma Catalystto be used at camp to upgrade weapons.

The Normal One

The second-hardest difficulty isn’t that much of a step-up, but he does have double the health of the last one (10 HP). The strategy is simple, although the planks are a little harder to see as they blend more in with the raft. If you’re good with timing, this can be over in a flash because the Normal difficulty introduces fire imbued Gestrals thrown at you. If you’re hit, they take two HP from your raft, but when knocked back they do the same to the Gestral. Thankfully, this is worth it as the rewards are stepped up a bit as you’re givenLune’s second swimsuit, this time as a one-piece with red stripes.

The Strongest

The last difficulty is going to test your patience for sure, as not only is the timing your strikes a lot stricter, as the rafts are closer, but the angle is slightly sharper than the last ones. You’re essentially burning down this Gestral’s floating home, as you’ll have to avoid almost every single hit. The number of explosive Gestrals is much higher, so it’s more likely to die, and it doesn’t help that the enemy’s HP has doubled once more, now requiring you to reduce 20 HP from it. The explosive Gestrals will help deplete this fast, but it’s still a very strict mini-game. Fortunately, you’re rewarded handsomely asSciel gets her own one-piece swimwearthat matches Lune’s red-striped one.

And that’s all you need. After completing this, you may be on your way and equip the two ladies with their new swimwear to wear in combat.
