Two Major Milestones for Elden Ring Content
The first of these milestones is theover 10 million copies soldofShadow of the Erdtree, the Elden Ring expansion that launched in February 2022.
This content requires the base game and is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC—with a Nintendo Switch 2 version coming soon.

Strong Start for Nightreign
Elden Ring: Nightreignhas surpassed5 million total sales. It launched on May 30 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, and in just one day had already sold over 2 million copies.
Since its release,Nightreignhas received new content such as theSovereigns of Eternal Darkness.Starting July 31, new enemies will appear, including Tricephalos, Omen, Balanced Beast, and Rift in the Mist.

Smaller patches have helped polish some of the game’s rough edges. One key change adjusted how Remembrances function, removing a big hurdle for online matchmaking. And shortly afterNightreignlaunched, solo play was made more accessible—directly responding to community feedback.
Now, all eyes are on what’s next from FromSoftware. The studio already teased a bold new direction withThe Duskbloods, a Switch 2 exclusive revealed during April’s Nintendo Direct. It’s a PvPvE multiplayer title—another big departure from the studio’s traditional formula. On top of that, there’s still one more unannounced project in the works, and while details are scarce, reports say it’s already deep into development.
