Today, Square Enix finally rolled out their much-anticipated “Comrades” multiplayer add-on for theFinal Fantasy XVJRPG.

Final Fantasy XV- “Comrades” Out Today!

Players can now grab the online expansion from the PlayStation Store for their PlayStation 4 system and through the Xbox Games Store for their Xbox One console at a price of $19.99.

And Season Pass holders can download the latestDLCfor free. The download also comes with a free update that adds new cooking recipes and the ability to accept multiple hunt quests.

Famous composer, Nobuo Uematsu, and vocalist Emiko Suzuki,shared their insightsbehind the “Comrades” main theme, “Choosing Hope”.  As well as an announcement ofNoctisjoining the Tekken 7  fighting game roster.

Taking place after the events of Chapter 13 in the main game, Comrades puts fans in the shoes of the remaining survivors of the Kingsglaive as they fight to restore the Light to the world during Noctis’s absence.

Square Enix has also released a launch trailer to the “Comrades” expansion that’s narrated by Libertus, a character from the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV  movie.

Final Fantasy XVis currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Whilepre-registrationfor the upcomingFFXV: Pocket Editionfor iOS, Android and Windows devices has begun.
