Enotria: The Last Song, a soulslike game that debuted a few months ago on PC and PS5, is now confirmed to land on Xbox Series X/S on July 31, 2025.
Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox
The game was initially released on PC and PS5 but skipped the Xbox Series X/S. According to its developer, Jyamma Games, the decision was made to ensure a “superior experience on PC and PS5,” which is understandable given the studio’s small size and limited resources.
After apologizing to Xbox players for the delay, the company announced in September that the Xbox version would be postponed indefinitely. The reason? Microsoft had allegedly “ignored” the developer’s attempts to secure certification for the game.

In response, Microsoft apologized to Jyamma Games, and now, the release date forEnotria: The Last Songon Xbox Series X/S has finally been announced.
A Unique Soulslike Experience with Room for Improvement
Enotria: The Last Songis a unique soulslike game notable for its setting, inspired by Italian folklore. However, the game clearly needed more development time, as its current state feels more akin to a Steam Early Access title than a polished, commercial release.
The game faces numerous issues, including performance and programming problems, but those aren’t the only challenges. Its combat system is fundamentally flawed, and the overall experience is riddled with imbalances, half-baked ideas, and features that lack proper execution.
