Infinite Nightmare

A few days ago, userAdminisitratorshared leaked screenshots of this mysterious new mode,Deep of Night, set to arrive inElden Ring: Nightreign. Heads up though, the post might get pulled from Reddit at any moment.

Deep of Nightis an entirely new type of expedition, designedspecifically for top-tier players. It will match elite users intoduos or trios, preparing them for what FromSoft is shaping into a realnightmarescenario.

The twist? It’s meant to beendless(or nearly so) throwing players intocontinuous waves of random bossesas the night drags on.

There are said to be5 levels of “depth”, and the deeper you go, the harder it gets — withno turning back. If you reach Depth 3, you’re able to’t return to Depth 2 or 1.

Luckily, it won’t all be pain. As you survive more encounters, you’ll be rewarded withbetter weapons, relics, and gear, making the suffering at least somewhat worthwhile.

FromSoftware has yet to make any official announcement, but the evidence is piling up — and fans arelosing itover what might bethe hardest mode in Elden Ring history.

CouldDeep of Nightbe revealed duringGamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 19? Possibly. But it wouldn’t be a surprise ifNightreignsaves the reveal forTokyo Game Show 2025, or even later.
