FromSoftwarehas announced that registrations for the beta or network test ofElden Ring: Nightreignstart Friday, January 10, onPS5 and Xbox Series.
Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test
No one expectedElden Ringto have a sequel (or multiplayer spin-off), but FromSoftware continues to surprise us. DuringThe Game Awards 2024, they unveiledElden Ring: Nightreign, a three-player co-op game launching in 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Its director, Junya Ishizaki, explained why the game only supports solo play or groups of three players and confirmed it is not a “games as a service” title.

Elden Ring: Nightreignwill feature numerous bosses, including some from the Dark Souls trilogy. The good news is that players will be able to try a network test in February. However, this test is limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, even though the game will also launch onPC, PS4, and Xbox One.
On their official Twitter/X account, FromSoftware confirmed that registrations open at 3:00 PM CET and will close on January 20.

The network test forElden Ring: Nightreignwill take place from February 14 to 17, 2025. During this time, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users can experience FromSoftware’s multiplayer spin-off.
To participate in the beta, visit the game’s official website and select the “Network Test” tab to submit your application.

Note that registrations begin today, January 10, at 3:00 PM CET, and will remain open until Monday, January 20.
There’s no need for a PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) subscription to play the beta, which is excellent news. However, gameplay sessions are limited to three hours per region during the test days.
On February 16, players will have up to six hours of gameplay, split into two sessions.
While some details about this test were leaked via PSN’s database (shared on Twitter/X by PS Game Size), FromSoftware has yet to confirm everything officially.
Elden Ring: Nightreignis the latest installment in FromSoftware’s saga, launching in 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Starting today, you can register for the network test, which will run from February 14 to 17 on PS5 and Xbox Series.
