A new comic book mini-series based onDark Soulsis being released byTitan Comics. It will be titledDark Souls: The Age of Fire.
Dark Souls: The Age of Fire comic book by Titan Comics
TheDark Souls: The Age of Firecomic book mini-series will be four-issues long. Titan Comics say that it will feature “all themain characters” from the game. The comics' story will be the story will be a “dramatic retelling of the Legends of Silver Knights.” You will be able to buy the first issue of theDark Souls: The Age of Firemini-series in May, just about the release time forDark Souls Remastered.
Prior toDark Souls: The Age of Firebeing released,Titan Comicshas revealed a number of variant covers in addition to some pages which show the internal artwork. Here’s a look at some of the stunning artwork from the comic.

Dark Souls: The Age of Fireis written by Ryan O’Sullivan. He has previously written many comic books, which include Turncoat, Eisenhorn, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War andThe Evil Within. In addition toDark Souls: The Age of Fire, he has also recently been writing a comic book series which is called Void Trip. It tells the story of Ana and Gabe, the last two humans left alive in the galaxy.
Dark Souls: The Age of Fire’s beautiful artwork is done by Anton Kokarev. He also did some of the art for the Evil Dead 2: Beyond Dead by Dawn comic book series. Anton Kokarev was also one of the illustrators for The Howling comic book. He also illustrated a fantasy novella collection, called Assassins, Knights, & Dwarves: The D.P. Prior Anthology of Sword and Sorcery.

Dark Souls: The Age of Fire and the Silver Knights
In the Age of Fire, theSilver Knightsserved underLord Gwyn’scommand. This ended dramatically when Lord Gwyn and some of the Silver Knights traveled to theKiln of the First Flame. They were trying to link the flame but it ended in disaster. All of the Silver Knights who went with Lord Gwyn were charred by the flame, which resulted in them being transformed intoBlack Knights.

It will also be released in 2018.Bloodborne: The Death of Sleepwill be illustrated by Piotr Kowalski (who also illustrated theDark Souls: Legends of the Flamecomic) and will be written by Ales Kot. Ales Kot is a massive fan of Bloodborne. He put in over 200 hours into the title, researching the game’s universe. The first issue ofBloodborne: The Death of Sleepwill be released this month.

Two other video games are also getting comic book adaptions which will be published byTitan Comics. They areAssassin’s Creed: OriginsandSea of Thieves.
The release ofDark Souls: The Age of Firenarrowly precedes the release ofDark Souls Remastered. Dark Souls Remasteredis coming to Switch, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 25th, 2018.
