Due to recent reports from Bloomberg journalist Takashi Mochizuki, we now have information that indicates that we will be getting a major million sale release from Capcom sometime in the early new year. Still, we do not know what game this will be. Many theorists have suggested that we will be getting a brand newMonster Huntergame which will be the sequel toMonster Hunter World, released back in 2018. We haven’t received any other mainstreamMonster Huntergames since, although we did receiveMonster Hunter Risefor Switch and PC about last year before it was later ported to mainstream consoles.

What information supports this potential future release?

So far, we have the information that was announced from Takashi Mochizuki, who has told us that Sword Cane Studios currently has 22 employees who are most animators and that they are looking to release a million-sale game by March 2024. This isn’t enough information for us to assume it will beMonster Hunter, but thanks to a lot of Capcom’s recent releases, we can assume they are hyping up towards it as they have already released games which are similar toMonster Hunter.

For example, one of Capcom’s recent releases isExoprimal, which has players running around in suits of armour fighting dinosaurs both big and small. This has led many gamers to assume that their next release will be something similar which isMonster Hunter, as it is somewhat similar in gameplay and can also help to expandMonster Hunteras it can invite a lot more into the game thanks to new systems which have been developed forExoprimalwhich have helped to create horde modes and much bigger and more violent Dinosaurs.

What other games could Capcom be hinting towards?

So far, we have assumed that the release could be a brand newMonster Hunteras it is one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, but they also have a lot of other franchises that could also be getting a brand new game in the near future. Over the past few months, we have had a lot of releases from Capcom, such as;Resident Evil 4 Remake, ExoprimalandStreet Fighter 6. Now due to these releases, we can assume that any other game in these franchises will be a long while away from being developed, but that being said, we could also be looking towards a release forResident Evil 9, for now, we just don’t know and cannot be sure

Another potential release that again is rather unlikely could beDino Crisis; quite a few gamers have suggested this, especially after the release ofExoprimal, but this would be a revival of a classic game franchise, and it is somewhat unlikely to come to light as it cannot be predicted how well it will do in today’s economy.
