Sometimes lovers apart is a fate worse than death. That is the case for Asinia and her beloved Draven inPath of Exile 2, as you’re required to fight the duo individually in their own grave sites, each one with their own unique abilities, but also calling upon one another’s help in their time of need.

Whether you find Asinia or Draven’s crypt first, they hold the key to progressing the story in the Cemetery of Eternals where Lachlann the Lost wants to go see his wife and daughter. Fight Asinia in her spiritual form as her skills are that of range.

Path of Exile 2: How to Unlock New Abilities

One of the more unique systems found in Path of Exile 2.

Boss Skills

If you’re fighting as a melee, you’re going to be circling around Asinia a lot. Her slashes will be the deadliest part of her arsenal for a while, at least before she has her missile barrage attack later on when the spirits begin to show up.

If you’re playing a ranged class, you will have it easy in this fight. You will be able to pepper her from afar, all while avoiding the spirits with ease. Getting out of jail does become a little harder if you don’t have any AOE abilities, such as Ice Nova, but outside of that, you will have all the freedom in the world. With that said, be sure not to touch the spirits because summoning an Eternal Knight is a huge headache in this fight because of their reflect ability.

Thankfully, Draven is the least threatening part of the fight overall, so even when he shows up to lend a hand, it’s generally something that’s hard to get hit by.
