The recent social media post of Aaron Taylor-Johnson has gone viral among the fans of Marvel comic heroes. As per his Instagram post, the actor has teased a faceoff between his characterKraven The Hunterand Spider-man. He shared a picture of himself as the dreaded villain Kraven and wrote,
“Spider-Man… I’m coming for you.”
There has been no mention of Spider-man in the trailer of the film, however, there are hints of his presence. There was a scene where thousands of spiders fall on Kraven, and he looks highly terrified seeing them. As per speculations, Kraven’s fear of spiders may later become the reason for Kraven to hunt down fan-favorite web-slinger.
Kraven The Hunteris an installment of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man spinoff series, which includes Venom and Morbius. However, it seems Spider-man will battle with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, but the details are yet to be chalked out. Does the important question remain which Spider-man actor will face off with Kraven? The film unveils the story of the origin of the supervillain and how he became Marvel’s most iconic villain. The story is set in the actor’s early years, which includes the process of gaining special powers and his connection with the mighty animals. He uses his strength to hunt down those who have wronged him. Sony’sKraven The Hunteroffers lots of violence and blood in the scenes.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson had earlier starred inKick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron,andThe King’s Man. He will play the solo lead inKraven The Hunteras Sergei Kravinoff akaKraven The Hunter. The cast includes Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose as Calypso, a voodoo priestess, and Kraven’s love interest, and Academy Award winner Russell Croweas Kraven’s father.
Alongside Kraven, the movie will introduce several other Spider-Man villains, including Fred Hechinger as Dmitri Smerdyakov as The Chameleon and Kraven’s half-brother; Alessandro Nivola as Aleksei Sytsevich aka The Rhino; and Christopher Abbott as the main antagonist, the Foreigner.
