Age of Mythology: Retoldis a remaster of the classic RTS title from World’s Ege and Forgotten Empires. This new version retains the core experience while upgrading the visuals and animations and adding new features like increased population limit, ray-tracing, and improved online experience. Though, what kind of rig do you need to play this? Here are the official Age of Mythology: Retold system requirements to prepare you for the remaster.

Age of Mythology: Retold System Requirements

The developers haven’t shared the target resolution or framerate here, but it’s safe to say these requirements don’t have ray tracing in mind. For now, if you’re looking to play at higher settings, you’ll need a GTX 970 paired with a generic i5 CPU with a 3.6 GHz clock speed.

Based on these, it doesn’t look like you need much to run the remaster, but we’ll have to see what kind of GPU you’ll need at launch to support ray tracing. Apart from that, you need 16 GB of RAM to play the title. On the lower side, even an ancient GTX 645 should be enough for some form of experience.
