The Solar subclass is perfect for Guardians who want to see their foes explode while staying safe with Radiance. You’re spoiled for choice, so here are the 9 best Solar builds in Destiny 2 for Warlock, Hunter, and Titan.

The best Solar Builds in Destiny 2 The Final Shape

You’ll finda build to suit any Solar playstylein this guide, but here’s a summary of what to expect:

3 Best Warlock Solar builds in Destiny 2

Our selection of Warlock builds are in no particular order but fulfill a broad range of playstyles from heavy offense to support roles. No other Class in the game fills thatsupport niche like a Warlock, so let’s start with an exciting build enabled by a Final Shape Exotic:

Speaker’s Sight build

TheSpeaker’s Sightis arguably the coolest Final Shape Exotic armor piece. This incredible Warlock helmetaugments your Healing Grenadesso they spawn healing turrets. If you’re after a unique take on the support role, this is the build for you.

As for your gameplay loop, throw healing Grenadeswhen you enter combat to cure yourself and spawn a turret. you’re able to also use your Phoenix Dive togrant Cure and Restorationto your Fireteam. While this is a support build, you’re no slouch in the damage department, thanks to the Hellion Aspect.

Phoenix Protocol Build

All Warlock Well of Radiance builds got nerfed pretty hard in The Final Shape. That said,Wells are still helpful, although you must be more tactical with their placement. If you’re smart with your Super, this Phoenix Protocol build can give you a ridiculous amount of uptime.

The gameplay loop focuses on having your Super live as fast as possible and spending it on as many busy encounters as possible. The Phoenix Protocolgives you Super Energy based on how many kills are scored from your Wellby your Fireteam.

Solar Hunter

A Solar weapon isn’t strictly necessary, but it synergizes with some of our Fragments. While you don’t have an offensive Super ability, your team will love you for yourunmatched Restoration effects.

Sunbracer Build

No Solar guide would be complete without a Sunbracer build for the Warlock. The playstyle here is all aboutlighting up the battlefield with Solar grenade spam. We use Firesprites and our Fragments to trigger Restoration for survivability.

3 Best Hunter Solar builds in Destiny 2

Solar Hunters areeating wellin The Final Shape with a shiny new Exotic Sniper Rifle, which feels like it was made for the class. Naturally, we’re making the most of it, so let’s start with a build using one of the most iconic Exotic’s in the entire game:

Celestial Nighthawk Build

If I had my own way, every Hunter build in this guide would be about theCelestial Nighthawk. This phenomenal helmetaugments our Golden Gun Super ability to fire one massively powerful shotinstead of three weaker ones. Hilariously, this Exotic perk also affects theStill Hunt Sniper Rifleand its own Golden shots.

While lacking a little in the defensive department, you’re a DPS monster with this build. Your goal is to play hard and fast and pick fights with the biggest baddies in any group. Good luck!

9 Best Solar Builds in Destiny 2: Warlock, Hunter, Titan

Blade Barrage build

The Blade Barrage Build is a massive departure from the Golden Gun and Celestial Nighthawk. That said, you can stillkick out massive damagenumbers. Our Aspects, Fragments, and abilities synergize so well that you can rock any weapons you like without affecting the build.

As we’re Super-centric, our gameplay loop relies ongetting and using Blade Barrageas much as possible.

Golden Gun Crucible build

Our final Hunter build in this guide is special, asit’s PvP-focused, although it can also be used in PvE. We’re using the Golden Gun the traditional way this time, as its multiple shots are lethal in the Crucible.

We also have easyaccess to Radiance, which gives our weapons a valuable damage buff.

3 Best Titan Solar builds in Destiny 2

I play every class, but there’s a special place in my heart for the Titan. Let me sharethree incredible Solar buildsI’ve had a ton of success with, even if I can’t bear to look at the Exotic armor of our first loadout.

Precious Scars build

The Precious Scars build iseasy to use and deals ridiculous damage. You’re also surprisingly tanky, thanks to our Exotic helmet’s perk. Every Solar kill you land will grant a welcome burst of Restoration, so you’re rewarded for a hyper-aggressive playstyle.

If you score Solar kills, you can stay in the fight and deal increased damage thanks to the Roaring Flames Aspect. You will need a solid Solar weapon for this build to pop off, butthe Sunshot is as devastating as ever, and the Polaris Lance is perfect for mid to long-range combat.

With this build, you may look like an ugly duckling, but you haveenough survivabilityto make a Well of Radiance Warlock blush.

Synthoceps Build

The Synthoceps embody the trademark Titan playstyle of punching every problem into oblivion. These Exotic gauntlets give us bonus melee and Super damagewhile surrounded and serve as an excellent base for the build. Your gameplay loop for this build is spamming your abilities up close as much as possible.

The Consecration Aspect gives you a powerful Slam attack to play with, and it synergizes with the damage bonus from Roaring Flames. You’repretty tanky, although I do recommend the Healing Grenades in case you overextend.

Exotic Armor and suggest Exotic weapons

Pyrogale Gauntlets Build

The Pyrogale Gauntlets are as good as they sound and augment our Burning Maul and Consecration slam abilities. To get the most out of our Exotic armor, we’re using both ina playstyle heavily reliant on our devastating slam attacks.

You’re not tied to any particular weapons with the Pyrogale build, but make sure touse your powered meleewhenever it’s off cooldown.

These builds are all exceptionally powerful, butyou’re not invincible. On top of the loadouts above, I recommend trying to reach100 points in Resiliencefor all classes. I’m a big fan of 100 points in Discipline for Grenades, and Recovery is another valuable stat. At the time of writing, Mobility is pretty useless for any Class besides the Hunter, so choose your gear appropriately.

If you’re experimenting withPrismatic builds, keep in mind that theFragments aren’t created equally. Some are valuable for any build, while others have niche applications.
